Operation Christmas Child

Each November our congregation is busy putting
together shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child
Each participating member packs a wrapped shoe box with small toys, items of clothing, and candy, and brings it to the church to be taken to a distribution center where it is shipped to a needy child in time for Christmas.  Operation Christmas Child is operated by Samaritan's Purse
who also encloses a gospel booklet into each shoe box in each child's language before distributing it.  Thousands of children and families have come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior since this program began in 1993.

Anyone is welcome to participate.  For complete details on how to pack your shoe box and for ideas of what to enclose, please pick up a brochure from one of the information tables at each church entrance.  You may leave your packed shoebox in the sanctuary overflow area.  The final date for collection of our shoeboxes is Sunday, November 16th

Note:  All shoeboxes must have the label found in the brochure.  Please plan to give a needy child new (not used) items.  Boxes will not be able to be accepted past the due date.  For more information, please contact the church office.
