Trunk O’ Treats

How about something a little different for Beggar's Night?  Trunk or Treat might be just the thing to start a new tradition.  It's a new wave of "trick-or-treating" which is catching on throughout the country.  Participants park their vehicle in a designated parking lot and then go about decorating their trunk or bed of their truck with a fun theme.  Costumed children can go from car to car, collecting treats along the way!  First Presbyterian's Trunk or Treat will be held each October during Beggar's Night.  To participate, bring your vehicle, lots of great candy, and decorations for your trunk to the parking lot before Beggar's Night officially begins.  Times will be posted in early October.

People have used lots of fun themes including:

Pirate Ship                                            Mother Goose/Nursery Rhyme
Beach Party                                          Clown or Circus theme
Noah's Ark                                            Boat theme
60's/70's/80's themes                             Harvest theme
Sports theme                                        Veggie Tales
Western theme                                     Christmas or other holiday theme
